Rusty began his career with Colorado Soil & Custom Drilling in Colorado in the late 80s. With 30 plus years of experience in drilling and coring, Rusty has worked for many coring companies both in the US, but also in Canada, South America, and as far afield as Australia, in all types of formations.
 
Rusty brings an impressive 96% success rate for core recovery in both conventional and unconventional coring to the DrillPlus Coring team. Rusty’s experience is invaluable in the field, where he is able to ensure that customers consistently receive the vital information they need from coring in order to optimize well performance. Additionally, Rusty advises customers on coring for both carbon capture and carbon disposal wells.
 
When he’s not out in the field, Rusty enjoys spending time with his family and his beloved dogs.
