Co-founder Elliot brings more than 15 years of global experience in the coring and drilling industry, with a strong history of engineering downhole tools and broad subsurface experience. His design expertise and attention to detail extend beyond bespoke coring bits to the development of complete coring systems tailored to client objectives. Leveraging both engineering depth and field experience, Elliot is involved in every stage of the process—from detailed job planning to the successful execution of core recovery and processing operations at the rig.

Our co-founder Rusty brings over 30 years of experience in coring and drilling, having driven successes in various coring companies globally. Rusty boasts an impressive 96% success rate for core recovery in both conventional and unconventional projects achieved over the course of his career. Rusty’s vast field experience ensures you get the all the data you need from your cores to optimize well performance. 

Freddy has a whopping 47 years of experience in the oil and gas industry . Freddy has worked in the North Sea off Scotland and across America, helping drilling services companies execute cost-effective, efficient core recovery operations. Freddy's experience gives him the ability to adapt to changing circumstances, working to complete the job on time, no matter what the challenge. Magly Cabrera is the Business Development Manager at Drill Plus Coring, spearheading new business growth across North America and international markets. Passionate about bridging people, ideas, and innovation, she leverages 20+ years of experience in oil & gas sales, marketing, and operations to deliver cutting-edge coring solutions and CCUS strategies. Active in key industry events like NAPE and SPE, Magly is dedicated to fostering strategic partnerships that drive success in challenging energy landscapes.

Connor serves as a Coring Technician and IT Developer for us. He is responsible for preparing and inspecting downhole coring tools, managing and improving internal IT systems, and directing core handling procedures to maintain sample integrity, accurate depth control, and proper documentation throughout the recovery process. Safety remains his top priority, and he regularly supports field operations as part of the coring team. Connor achieved a 99% core recovery on a salt well in North Dakota, one of his most notable accomplishments with the company.

Nathaniel, our Shop Manager, plays a critical role in maintaining the performance and reliability of our coring equipment. Highly detail-oriented, he oversees inspection, maintenance, and quality assurance processes to ensure all tools meet strict operational standards prior to deployment. He also maintains the shop in full compliance with QHSE standards, reinforcing a safe, organized, and efficient working environment. His precision and commitment to operational readiness support safe and successful core recovery on every project.
